Our Mission
The primary goal of Refreshing Winds Ministries, Inc. is to revive, renew, refresh, restore, and reconcile the body of Christ and the lost through teaching, training, preaching, prophesying, prayer, evangelizing, missions, music, praise and worship, dance, banner ministry, counseling, charitable works, and giving.
Another goal of this ministry is to increase faith in the hearts of growing Christians, inspire holiness in the lives of believers, and instill hope in the hearts of struggling people. Refreshing Winds Ministries, Inc. acknowledges that not only does the grace of God permit salvation, but the grace of God is continuing to work in and for the believer. This ministry will further attempt to raise up ministers and equip them for the work they are called to do.
The activities of the Ministry shall include but are not limited to outreach, retreats, home cell, and fellowship groups, Bible study, lectures and seminars, conference speakers, prayer groups, and ministering to the homeless, shut-ins, abused women, and those in hospitals, nursing homes, prisons, and the mission field. These activities will be conducted by volunteers.
We shall propagate the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We Believe In
… The Bible. The inspired Word of God to all men through the Holy Spirit, source of all truth;
Reliability of the Holy Scriptures. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:20; Ps 119:105,160)
… the Trinity. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Ps. 90:2; Gen. 1:1, 26; 1Pet. 1:2; Is 9:6; Mt. 28:18-20)
… Jesus. His eternal deity, virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into Heaven, and imminent return. (Jn. 1:1; Is. 7:14, Lk. 1:26-38; Jn. 14:10-30; Heb. 4:14-15; Acts 1:9-11; Rom. 1:3, 4)
… the Holy Spirit. The Comforter dwells in every believer’s heart to impart the character of Christ, and comes upon God’s people in power to equip them for ministry.

… Forgiveness of sins, available only through the blood of Jesus. (Mt. 26:27-28)
… Salvation, by grace, through faith, apart from any works of our own.

… Divine Healing for the whole man, through the stripes of Jesus. (Is. 53:5; Lk. 6:18-19)
… The Lord’s Supper is a covenant meal, celebrating our unity with Jesus and one another.

…. Worship. Our purpose is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. (I Pt. 2:9; Rom. 12:1; Ps. 100)
Why We Worship The Way We Do
The Bible teaches that worship is not a dull ritual but a joyful and intimate celebration of God’s presence.
The Bible encourages us to express our love for God in a variety of ways:
– Singing – Psalm 30:4, 95:1
– Kneeling – Psalm 95:6, Luke 22:41
– Standing – Psalm 134:1, 135:2
– Lifting Hands – Ps. 63:4, Ps. 134:2, I Tim. 2:8
– Clapping Hands – Ps. 47:1, 98:8
– Dancing – Psalm 149:3, 150:4
– Shouting – Psalm 35:27, 47:1
– Musical Instruments – Psalm 150:3-5, II Samuel 6:5
– Prophetic Song – Ps. 40:3, 96:1, 98:1
In addition to these expressions of our love, God also exhorts us to exercise the gifts of the Spirit in an orderly way as we meet together. In the course of our worship, you may hear a prophetic word given to encourage or edify (I Cor. 14:3, 26, 31) or a brief message in tongues, followed by an interpretation (I Cor. 14:5, 18, 27). While all of the above expressions of praise are valid and acceptable, none are required.
If you feel uncomfortable expressing your praise in these ways, please feel free to just “sing-along” or to quietly express your love for God in prayer.
Refreshing Winds

When the refreshing winds of the spirit blow,
There are many wonderful things that begin to show.
Life becomes as beautiful as the setting sun,
Or, as fresh as a sunrise, as a new day’s begun.
The light now is shining, as darkness fades away.
The night now is over, there’s a brand-new day.
A day for loving and reaching out to another
With a hand that is gentle, as the touch of a mother.
When darkness has lifted, and the light shines in,
We can now see clearly, He’s more than a friend,
He’s the lover of the souls of both woman and man;
He brings us His strength, and helps us stand.
Standing’s not easy when we’re doing it alone,
But there’s one who is with us, we’re not on our own,
He lets us try again and again,
Then comes the presence of His refreshing wind.
Please don’t run from the light of His love,
But rejoice and receive it, it comes from above,
Just as the wind sweeps the dark clouds away,
God’s refreshing winds bring a beautiful new day.
