Did You Hear the Mountains Tremble – a song pondering

I’m pondering the song “Did You Feel The Mountains Tremble” by Hillsong. (See lyrics below.)
Did you feel the mountains tremble? Did you hear the oceans roar? It occurs to me that sometimes waiting for the Lord is a bit scary to our senses… feeling mountains trembling is not a soothing picture. Roaring oceans reminds us of the power and might and grander of Our Creator. But as these things are occurring, in the heavenly realm doors and gates are being opened for the Lord’s movement on earth. And as we see the Lord moving in our lives, we can’t help but respond with joy and singing and celebrations and experience blessed relief! We can dance on injustice because we have received such mercy from our amazing creator of justice. We move in unity as the Lord draws more and more of his children to himself, the saving one, Jesus the Christ. How can we resist dancing and singing as His cleansing water washes over us and we move forward in one voice to Jesus? Then a wonderful thing happens, the darkness trembles. The gates of hell cannot prevail against the unified body of Christ. Watch out creation… the sons of God are coming into their own! Swing wide the heavenly gates! Prepare the way of the Risen LORD!
